I have worked in the MAIS program of Athabasca University since 2005. I am the focus area steward for Community Studies within the program. I volunteer with several nonprofit organizations concerned with lake health as well as citizen science aimed at birds, wildlife, and natural history. I am increasingly interested in how storytelling can help nonprofits tell the stories that are important to them and that help to support their communities. I enjoy gardening, birding, and photography when I am not working with the amazing graduate students of the MAIS program.
