Taught Political Science Courses (Canadian Government and Politics, Canadian Constitution, Local Government, International Conflict, Pipelines and Politics) at UVIC, Camosun College, and the Esquimalt Naval Base.
In addition to my Political Science studies, I have a Diploma in Adult Education so am very aware of the challenges adults have in pursuing their education. Taking this course is not just about content but learning how to answer questions and organize one's thoughts. Helping students master this as well as course content is essential.
When I travel, I observe through the lens of Environmental Policy and pass on what I see to our students. This raises awareness of the similarities and differences between Canada and other countries.
Research interests
Canadian federal and local politics.
