New student facilities on track for opening January

Reedy Creek

Currently, in the middle of our school, we are constructing a two-storey and a three-storey building.  This is the biggest single construction project we have undertaken at King's Reedy Creek.  The project includes 12 general classrooms, 4 flexible learning areas, a dance studio, an instrumental music room and amenities.

The Qld Government, through the Block Grant Authority, has contributed $155 301.50 towards City of Gold Coast infrastructure charges associated with this project.  We are very grateful for the financial assistance from the Qld Government towards these charges.

In conjunction with this, the College is funding on the ground floor: a new canteen and eating area, clinic and student wellbeing centre in what will become the central student services hub.

This project is on track to be completed by the end of this year, so that it will be available for students to enjoy from the start of the 2026 school year.
