Digital Learning Officer
We are seeking a dynamic professional to fill the role of  Digital Learning Officer.
There are 2 positions available. One at our Pimpama campus, and one at our Logan Village campus.
This is a Full Time (Permanent) position.
You will have expertise in digital systems and software applications to enhance the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices across the College.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and delivering effective training programs in line with the College’s digital learning strategic direction.
Your ability to blend coaching skills with meticulous administration will be essential for enhancing our staff’s continual IT development and up-skilling with new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Support Teachers in the Classroom
- Collaborate with educators to implement digital tools that enrich teaching and learning
- Provide tailored coaching and troubleshooting to help teachers feel confident using technology
- Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement in using technology in the classroom
Design and Deliver Training
- Create engaging training sessions, workshops, and resources that meet the needs of teaching staff
- Work alongside IT to ensure safe and effective use of technology
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt programs to maximise impact
Manage Training Logistics
- Coordinate venues, equipment, and schedules for training delivery
- Maintain accurate records of participation, feedback, and progress
- Serve as the key contact for training-related queries
Ensure Best Practice
- Align all training with College IT policies and security protocols
- Monitor and report on training outcomes, and identify new opportunities for staff development
Requirements and Skills
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Training Coach, IT Trainer, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of digital systems, software, and hardware
- Proficiency in MS365, Apple, and familiarity with Learning Management Systems
Coaching and Communication
- Ability to motivate and guide staff in their technology adoption journey
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organisation and Accuracy
- Strong organisational skills for managing training records and schedules

- at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
