King’s Early Learning is seeking a Diploma-qualified Group Leader to join our dedicated team.
We have the following roles available at our Reedy Creek, Logan Village and Pimpama campus:
- Permanent Relief Float Educator (Diploma qualified)
- Inclusion Support Educator (experience in this role is an advantage)
- After School Care Group Leader (Diploma qualified)
The applicant must have a passion for working with young children, and a strong interest in joining our growing community at King’s Christian College.

Our Early Learning centre operates term time, with the option to have additional rostered hours during our vacation care periods.
The Role
As a Group Leader, you will:
- Lead and inspire educators within the team, ensuring high-quality care and education.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
- Build strong, supportive partnerships with families and colleagues.
- Create an inclusive and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
- Model and uphold the values and culture of King’s Christian College.
The After-school Care Diploma role can be either full time or part time – may suit a student who holds a Diploma in Children’s services, and is currently studying and wants to balance regular rostered hours and study. Alternatively this role will suit a qualified Diploma educator who is wanting full time employment.
We are looking for passionate and professional educators who:
- Are willing to teach from a Christian Worldview
- Have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent, ACECQA approved).
- Hold a current Blue Card and First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certification.
- Have a strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and child development.
- Display excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Have a heart for children and a commitment to supporting their individual growth within the early years setting

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;
- at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2400 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1500 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
